i figured id start of thread for my build with the new xj. i didnt do much yet just wire brushed alot of the surface rust off and start undercoating it. ill get some detailed pics up of it soon. if anyone has any spare xj parts laying around let me know and i could really use some wheels and tires it has mix matched 235s on it right now

well not much to update due to lack of funds right now but i finished uncoating the jeep and changed the oil since it was jet black. its finally on the road and i must say it runs better then i remembered from the test drive. i might actually get away with the rear for a little while to. ill update more when i get money to buy parts haha!

Looking good Steve! I like the black! If you do the camo make sure you do the flares!

I have a set of alloy wheels (turbines) if you want them. They have a set of beat 31's on them. Located in Pa. near the Comm. Barry Bridge. Let me know if you want them. Victor

do you have pics? im not familiar with the "turbine" wheels. i was beginning to lean towards some black cragar soft 8s and possibly trying a set of the treadwright retreads that are the goodyear MTR lookalikes i believe they call them the guard dogs now or something like that. ive seen nothing but good reviews on them.

hmm thanks for the offer victor but now that i see the pic ive seen those wheels on a few jeeps before but that isnt really the look i am going for. i really appreciate the offer though im sure if you post them up you could probably sell them fairly easily.

well i got my parts all ordered to get my xj lifted and my rear fixed! my parts in the mail include.... 3 inch zone offroad lift kit using new front coils with a full length rear add a leaf (also running the rough country shocks from dennis), rustys transfer case drop and brake extensions, and i got a steal on a master rebuild kit for the rear. everything should be here early next week. ill be like a little kid on christmas!! got a steal on the lift kit 150 bucks free shipping!! i basically got great deals on everything lets just say for EVERYTHING i spent under 300 bucks! im considering getting one of those rockcrusher diff covers for the rear when i rebuild it.
