I knew those flares would be receiving wax. ;D ;D ;D hahaha! Nah Chuck, no wax today I promise! Only washed it I swear. I'm going to wait to wax it until it's showtime.  |

Kind of a newbee here on the site and hope to get permission to join the membership team.. lol
We had two XJ's in our family one for my daughter and one for my son 3 years later... they last a long time.. over 270K mi before my son sold his. The best thing was I did a father son bonding and we rebuilt the engine.. a lot of oil leaks... as we all know... when I asked him if he wanted to learn of course he said yep and then a couple of days later (after I told the wife it would only be a couple hundred max dollars) Nic, (son) asked if we could make it a stroker... ouch.. heck yea we can I told him... long story real short, a few grand later with high end racing parts and cams, it was completed and ran great... added over 100hp to that 4.0 but man that was fun... of course the wife was a little angry but it was really "priceless" to do that with my son... I love seeing family projects like that... good job and it looks fantastic!!!

Thank you! It makes it that much nicer when the family you have doing it with you is so wonderful. No matter how much your wife may have gotten mad about the money, I'm sure the time was well worth it!
