In reading some logs on Geocaching.com, I saw someone left in a cache a "Grass Roots Jeep Club Business Card"
Who here is a cacher?

Can someone explain to me what geocaching is exactly?

It's when you have a Geo and you cash it in on a Jeep! You go and find things that people hide from you using GPS coordinates!

Is it like a transponder or something or just a random object?

You get the coordinates from the geocaching site! There are spots all over the world. Then you go and find it! It usually being some kind of box like a ammo box you can leave your card or something in! I'm not in to it unless there is something to see like the airplane wreckage!

Yes! It's amazing how well the chrome looks after 30+ years in the woods!
