Even though the tub has a little crinkle under both doors, I think most of the damage is contained to the front clip. What happened was; I started moving with traffic after the light turned green, but traffic was in gridlock a couple of hundred yards ahead and I didn't realize it. Well everybody stopped and I hit the brakes but slid like I was on ice. BOOM, I went under the back of a pick up truck. Our bumpers never even contacted each other, but my grill and fenders did. I pulled over, the girl that I ran into stopped at the light, got out, looked at me, then checked her truck, brushed away the plastic from my headlight bezels and then left. No report no name exchange, nothing. And get this, the cops were sitting right there and didn't even see it happen. So even though I have to take care of my own damage, there is nothing going to my insurance co. I actually picked up both fenders and grill yesterday for $140. Started prepping them for fresh paint, then I'll start tearing the old stuff off. I know....tube fenders or flat fenders. I would but this Jeep is/was pristine and original stock condition 86,000 miles and garage kept most of it's life. I kinda think I'll keep it stock and street only since I have the General as my toy.
