Hey guys, instead of buying a $700 plus lift kit Im doing a front to rear swap for my 95 ZJ. I already have the front coil springs from a V8 ZJ to throw in the back. I wanted to know if there were any good 4x4 stores in the area I could go to for 3 inch lift front springs and both front and rear shocks. Thanks !

I just had the springs ordered from Skyjacker through a local store,so if I wanted to I could lift it now. I have a question though. Shocks are gonna be paid for with my next paycheck which is a week away. Should I wait till I have the shocks to install it all at once?

Both are an easy install but why pull wheels twice. Also depends if you bottom your stock shocks out with teh new springs?

yeah thanks. Thats what I was thinking. Im just anxious to get it going ya know. With the springs It will probably be three inches higher so I think the stock shocks would bottom out.

I agree. Do it all at once while you have it up on stands. Good luck. Be sure to post some pics when she's done.

Ive been really busy because of work and family stuff and only recently have I got the shocks too. Then I found out my lug nuts were stripped and i needed new ones. Those were replaced so today I went to finally put the new springs and shocks on but unfortunately I also discovered I dont have the right tools/tools arent good enough.
So if anyone is itching for some wrenching I would love some help with this stuff.

My socket set is a piece of crap. well my dads set is. He isn't very mechanically inclined. I cant get to a lot of the bolts well enough to get a good grip to prevent stripping them

go to harbor freight and start getting yourself some tools, good quality and cheap. First thing i'd get is a mig welder, then a good air compressor and air tools.

yeah I thought about that. I know how exactly to do the lift but with my tools right now Im just stripping the bolts and doing more harm then good. An impact wrench would be great right now
