Just wanted to say what a great day I had. My first but not my last show with your club. Very well organized, lots of great Jeeps and a very nice venue. Saw lots of old friends and made a few new ones. Well done.

i think the judges cant enter the show I agree. BUT, I kinda like the idea of the everyone in the show voting for people. I think it gets more people involed and checking out each others rigs. It gives everyone something to do while waiting for everything else at the show to happen. I personally like being able to see EVERY Jeep and pick my favorite one. I think we just need more people to count or a faster way to count them. Maybe print out some kind of spread sheet to make it easier. With say 7 people, it shouldn't take that long to count a few hundred votes..... Just sayin' But I am open to new ideas....

If you have 100 people voting with 11 classes plus best in show that's 1200 votes! If we have judges the judges wouldn't judge there own class! Then you get the people that put modified vehicle votes in the stock space or put the same number in stock and modified. We currently use spread sheets to calculate. Maybe we could have a peoples choice award instead of best in show! This is all stuff that has to be worked out!

I'm sure we could all get together and figure out an easier way to do everything. See Tom, the show was such a great time, we want the next one here already! We're trying to get a plan together 11 months in advance! hahaha!

I was going to ask this at last nights meeting but got side tracked with other conversations... I was wondering if you all talked about having a little playground for the jeepers at the 2011 event. I remember seeing all that open area where some obstacles could be set up... I was at one event in Ohio and they did some fun things, like drive over some small bumps while the passenger was holding an egg on a spoon sometimes the passengers where even children .... stuff like that....... just a thought

This was the first show at that Vineyard so we don't want to push our luck yet! Great suggestion though.

Hey Tom, when do XJ's and ZJ's get their own class? I thought maybe you were gonna change it up for this year.

I can share some info... dean Well, I guess it helps that I'm a little bit of a wrench head myself ;D . I'd love to hear what you did. Although, I'm pretty sure my rear axle may not take a liking to it. I have the little Dana 35 back there. All new bearings but all stock gears. Will we get to see the XJ that you guys did? Maybe on the next ride?
