Calling all Topless for TATA's supporters... We need Topless for TATA's AX Men and Women!
I'm pleased to announce that Rausch Creek Off Road Park has offered to dedicate a brand new trail dubbed "Topless for TATAs". The trail is going to be a green trail offering both Blue and Black switchbacks for those looking to rock some TATAs!
We need your help with trail cutting, trail clearing, a day of fun and laughter, meet and greet with event participants, having an opportunity to win some TFT swag... and if time permits some afternoon wheeling! More specific details about what all will be needed (i.e. tools, supplies) and required (i.e. volunteers) will be forthcoming. We wanted to send this out as a place holder to ensure we have enough volunteers willing to help out. The tentative date will be Saturday, June 2nd at 09:00. Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided that's why we are asking for a headcount for those able to attend. As always all Topless for TATA's events are family orientated and we encourage everyone to attend.

Hi guys! I know that I have been a bit absent from the forum. Things have been extremely busy. The $10 fee for the "other side" will be waived for all TATA participants. I usually make that announcement at the event and we have had this arrangement with RC since last year. The new TATA trail will be on the map and TATA participants will be the first ones to run it. I am VERY happy about this and feel that this is a HUGE honor. The trail is one of the longest in the park minus the access roads. It will also be expanded in the upcoming years for those of us who love challenges. If you have any questions, call me as the phone is attached to me at all times now. 240-925-5026. Below is an event schedule that might assist everyone: As you all know the overall success of our event is due in part to volunteers. For those of you arriving on Friday we can sure use your help at any time of the day. For event participants registered at The Comfort Inn, Pine Grove please join us Friday evening for activities and hors d'oeuvres. This is where the legendary goodie bag stuffing occurs as well as featured raffle items on display. All pre-sold swag items will be available for pick up as well. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! Pizza Dinner to immediately follow the raffle Feel free to join us at the Comfort Inn, Pine Grove following the event. Like years past, many participants will be on hand socializing, wrenching on Jeeps and just having a good 'ole TATA time. Helpful TATA Tips: Just like last year, only event participants are eligible to take part in our raffle. Wristbands will be issued at time of check in and will be required to be worn through the event. Please do not purchase tickets for anyone who is not a registered event participant.
Seating will be VERY limited... So, bring a chair for lunch and the raffle.
CB's are not mandatory but highly encouraged to have.
Recommended that you have front and rear recovery points.
Each and every participant is required to visit the Rausch Creek office to pay for all daily fees associated for driver and all passengers. Check in early as there will be long lines.
Cash will only be accepted for the raffle tickets. However, credit cards, checks and cash are accepted for TATAs swag.
Raffle and pizza dinner are optional. You are more than welcome to depart at any time.
All times are approximate estimates and might change at any time.
Please make sure you bring a trash bag with you. Let's bring out what we take in.
Make sure you bring a lot of drinks and snacks for the trail ride.
Full tank of gas is recommended.
The most helpful TATA tip... listen to your trail guide and spotter. This will greatly reduce the chance of vehicle damage while ensuring a stress free day of wheeling.
Bring the RC cars for the kids, there will be a special RC course for them to rock crawl and play on.
Rausch Creek Offroad Park has two onsite air compressors that are available for use. Be aware that 100's of vehicles will want to use the air compressor as well. Plan accordingly.
Recommended to bring bug repellant as well as sun block.
At time of registration, please advise how many children ages 13 and under are attending with you so they may receive a ticket for the kid's raffle. There is no cost for these tickets. Kid's raffle will take place during the raffle.
Several sponsoring vendors will be onsite, please make sure you take the time to stop by to check out the great products and additional services they have to offer.
Lastly, make sure you have fun and we will hope to see you next year!
