Why the heck does my computer modem go down and my cable's "On Demand" go down at the same time, and then reset itself later on ?
My cable still works but no On Demand or internet at times.
Talking to the people at Comcast is like talking to a wall .... a dumb wall.

Well Im pretty sure that the internet and cable tv is run off the same lines and the computer and On Demand are both interactive so maybe your input signals arent reaching comcasts hubs. Idk. Doesnt really solve the issue but just some out loud thinking

Strange ain't it ?
Comcast is clueless and keeps telling me it's the router. Now I'm 3 routers deep and the same problem.

Chip everything runs through the same line. Try unplugging everything for a few minutes and plug it back in.
If that doesn't work ask comcast to check your signal to the house. They can even check your cable modem from their office.
Its possible the cable modem is bad. What kind are you using? Is it from comcast? If it is have them come out and check everything from inside the house. Do you have any powered splitters in the lines?
so much fun.
