We bailed out Chrysler before and even made a little money. We won't only loss auto maker jobs theres all the other jobs steel, fabric, tires, plastic, electronics, bulbs, glass the auto makers buy all this stuff and more from outside sources. Bankruptcy won't save the little suppliers just get the big 3 out off paying there suppliers!
Vinny how about the Cobra!

My clients are dropping off like flies, office buildings are ghostowns, strip malls & shopping centers are rotting away, retail stores are laying off thousands a day, and on & on. So do we bail everyone out or just the car companies ? That would be my question to our government. Where does it start and where does it end ? This is much bigger than the Big 3.

We shall over come and rebuild, we have no choice. Our children and future depends on it. All the greed has killed this country. Keep the jobs in the USA. Leave China , Japan and all the countries we buy from keep to themselfs. We need to limit imports and exports to create more jobs right here. Stop aiding other countries our county needs us. I just hope that Mr. Obama makes a change in our country.
All I can say is God Bless us all.

Vince Amen. This is the only Country in the World where you get rewarded for bad business and get rich from it. So what now ? We give them 25 Billion dollars of taxpayer money so management can draw Millions in bonuses to feed their excessive lifestyles, the UAW wants theirs, the guy on the assembly line who only makes 70 dollars an hour (poor guy) is screaming he's underpaid and so on. Everyone got greedy, that's what it's come down to again. So now we give them the money and what changes ? Nothing. At the end of the day you still have an overpriced inferior product, the big wigs bleed the company dry, stale technology & engineering that can't compete with the overseas market and now your in even more debt in the tune of 25 Billion Dollars on top of it. AND A TWO DOLLAR STOCK, which will be a penny stock if a bailout is approved ! Their Doomed ! This is not a bailout it just feeds the monster they've created.

Don't feel sorry for them. If it's not them making cars in this country it will be someone else. Someone with fresh, new ideas, who creates new jobs and who can help us get off of our foriegn oil dependency and who actually cares about the consumer and American worker.

I do know unions aren't helping matters. I lost my non-union job last Nov. because my employer tried to go union ( plumbing ) to get more commercial work he ended up bankrupt now he works alone when he can get work! Tell me one homeowner that can afford $165 an hour to fix a toilet. Thats what you would have to charge to pay 1 guy the union and cover a little overhead.

Bottom line is are government let nuts get out of hand,,took bribes from big corporation to look the other way when times where good,, now that they f-ck up the system they want more money to fix what should have never happen!!!!! DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!
Now to the banks that want money,,,,why give it to them,,, they wrote bad loans and knowing it letting people buy homes the couldn't afford,,I say the people that bought these big homes should be out on the street its not my fault they cant pay on a loan they signed there names to interest only for 5years and now that 5 year note is due they want the banks to help/look the other way,,,screw you!!!!
Now to the honest hard working guy(kurt) who worked hard to get what he has is going to lose his shirt because they don't care about the little guy,,,(the man that makes this country what it is) small business owners and the every day blue collar man is going down and the way it looks to me is are goverment doesent want to help us.
Now the way that money needs to be spent is give it to the people its are tax dollars any way so give it back us to put it were it needs to be. Give the (REAL) working man or women each a check for $50-$100k and see what and how that would boost this so called crash a kick in the right direction
