After 5 days of cutting and grinding I removed the hood hoop, tow bar brackets and added the receiver. Then drilled the holes for the lights, ground and sanded everything smooth. I added a couple coats of duplicolor graphite rim paint to match the Knockers and rear bumper. With a total investment of $150 I'm still not sure if I like it!

The point of a stinger is to protect the engine compartment encase of a roll over and to keep you from flipping forward on steep descents. Short stingers are for looks!

Awsome Tom... Looks good. After 5 days of cutting and grinding I removed the hood hoop, tow bar brackets and added the receiver. It looks massive in the pic's! But it's not! Yeah, that's what she said ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D You did a nice job Tom. It looks super clean. Does look a little on the overpowering side in the pics though. Like if you had 35's on it, it might blend better. Hey, you should have taken a pic with my 31's on it to see how silly THEY would look. lol!

put it up for sale.... in alot of debt so the jeep has to go for now. my jeepin days are far from over but they will be on hold for awhile. dont worry im not disappearing but I will be jeepless again for the time being. Hopefully it wont take me long to get my finances straightened out and get a new toy but unfortunately as much as Im going to miss the xj sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do..... dont hate me for keeping the ford over the jeep haha!!
