Hey guys, I'm looking to get a reliable CB for my rig. Any suggestions, or does anyone have an old reliable one they'd be willing to sell? Thanks. Slowly gettin my "new" jeep ready for the trails.

I got mine from RadioShack. It's been very reliable and much better than my old Uniden 520. The biggest thing you want to do is get a good antenna. Without a good antenna your screwed.

Pilot or travel America truck stops have the best deals on anything you need for CB's.

Gorilla Glue is bad for a CB makes it make all kinds of weird noises , then no one wants to talk to you

Wallmart.com has a good deal on two CB's but that is about it.. I am in the market for a 2' Firestick antenna for my wifes rig. The K40 we had busted at the base of the mount. I liked the K40 for the fact that it had the best SWR, but it does not hold up to tree abuse like the Firestick does.
I am going to call White Dott on Rt 206 & 70 to see what deals they have in antennas.

Aaron I have an extra COBRA 75 CB that I'm selling. I know I'm new to the forum, but I am local, so there's no worries, LOL. The Cobra 75 is the CB that comes with the real tiny box that mounts anywhere you want, and the entire CB is built into the handset. I have one in my Cherokee, was going to put this in my tow vehicle, but I changed my mind. Lemme know if you're interested.
