I installed new control arm bushings in the upper front diff and I'm having a problem with them sliding out until the arm hits the sleeve any ideas how to keep them in place.

Thanks John. I was thinking contact myself Dennis. If you let it dry I don't think they'll slide back in the sleeve.

Pulled the passenger side apart found that the sleeve was loose in the bracket so I did a little amateur welding and tacked it in place. I used some spray 77 adhesive and slid the bushing back in I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Tom I am sort of puzzled at the description of you problem. Are you installing new bushings? I have assumed that the bushings are pressed fit into place. I also assumed the center sleeve is fused to the rubber bushing… Maybe check out “Stu-Olson’s” web site for some tips.

I installed new poly bushings. You have to drill and burn the old rubber bushings out of the sleeve and slide the new poly bushing in it. My problem was that the new bushing kept sliding out until the arm would hit the sleeve so I used super 77 spray adhesive on the sleeve and bushing slid them back in and so far it's working.
