Working on the YJ tonite I never saw so many wires in my life. There must have been 10 on the carb and intake alone. heres some new pics.

So far I've found zero rust through just surface rust. The hole inside was sanded primed and painted after the body is painted then we'll apply new seam sealer and a coat of bed liner.

You might want to POR-15 the tub first and then bedline or Durabak it. You'll never see a drop of rust as long as you live.

I was reading up on POR they said don't POR over paint it needs to be on pair metal or rust to be affective.

i believe yj tubs are galvinized they dont rust ( what i heard ) heck mine hasnt rusted yet and its a sub

The frame rust out befour the tub does,,,the spot to look at on the frame is where the rear shackles are thru the frame

Your right Waterman. That's the first place to look for rust. Also under the bumpstops on a YJ gets rusted really quick.
