Well, the suspension has to go on hold for a while. On a trail run yesterday I started blowing water out of the front of the motor near the water pump. Dropped it off at the shop, hope it is just the water pump. Is this common? It only seems to leak when you turn it off and then only for a few minutes.

Yup, that's definately a water pump. Typical on a TJ, mine went about 2 months ago.

Yes. You already have an SYE so all you need are the driveshafts. With most 4"Kits you can get away with a Transfer case drop. But any more than 4" and you'll need driveshafts. About another 5- $600.00 for both. who's building your driveshafts?

Yup, that's definately a water pump. Typical on a TJ, mine went about 2 months ago. Did that help you extinguish those pesky interior fires?.... ;D LOL! IMO, the best feature of BDS suspensions is their warranty.... Lifetime, No Fine Print Warranty. Basically, all suspension components are covered, regardless of how they are used (DD, Rock Crawling, Racing, etc.). Plus, their customer service is top notch! I would recommend that anyone considering a BDS lift, should opt for the 9500 series gas shocks. They are a huge improvement over the standard 5500 series hydros. It adds about $300.00 to the cost of the kit, but is worth every penny.

Hey Matt, I know you guys sell Cage Suspensions, what's your opinion on their 4" TJ Kit ? And do you deal with Rock Krawler at all ? Cage makes some decent stuff, I prefer their products for early-year Broncos and late-model Fords. Rock Krawler has awesome stuff for Jeeps, and thier truck division (Pure Performance) is really nice as well. IMO here are my top 5 suspension companies for Jeeps. Based on customer feedback, durability, and on & off-road performance: 1.) Old Man Emu (Nothing beats the ride!) 2.) Nth Degree (They will be back up and running shortly!!!) 3.) BDS 4.) Clayton Off-Road Mfg. 5.) Rock Krawler ......Teraflex is up there as well and Icon Vehicle Dynamics makes an amazing JK kit, but no other Jeep products. -Matt

I agree, I've always had good results with Teraflex Products.
I really think that the Rock Krawler X Factor 4" Short Arm Kit seems like a great value for the price. Comes pretty well equiped. BDS is awesome also.

3" BDS kit ordered today. I won't be able to get it installed before the 6/7 run but it should be in soon after.
