OK i have been pushing off my gear problems long enough. Now both front and rear yokes have play. They are leaking pretty bad. I changed the diff fluid last week and the gears seemed ok. i was pushing this off expecting to bu new rears, but just cant find any.
I have never had to set gears. Is there anyone willing to put in some wrenching time to help me? Or point me to a good shop. I have never taken a car to any auto shop. I always do my own work.
Once this is finished I should be back on the trail

I agree with John 100% there is not much room for error and can cost you many bucks. I tried once years ago and learned my lesson. I just had my axle rebuilt including gears since I messed them up Super crawling. It wasnt cheap but now it is perfect and I can feel the differance.

That's something I always wanted to learn. Always get a trained pro to do gears there's no room for mistakes the tolerances are to close.
