Brigantine Beach has great surf fishing and you can drive on the beach, with a permit.

I love to fish for catfish in the river. I've pulled some monsters out of this end of the river. We use surf poles at night with a little tin foil on the end so you can see the bites. I don't surf fish. Me and the sun don't get along very well!

James and I use to go tto LBI for the Governor's Fishing Tournament every year during the off season. Bunch of people attend. You can drive on the beach and fish all day. James actually won a fishing pole for catching the biggest fluke in one of their categories.
