Questions and more importantly answers!
Q. When and where is this show going on?
A. The 5th Annual Jeff Daniel's Jeep Customizing Show will be held September 20th at our main facility 495 Indian Creek Road, Harleysville PA, 19438 from 1pm to 8pm.
Q. Can I bring a trailer?
A. Of course, although we cannot park the trailers on our property due to space, there is a parking lot right across the street that will have available trailer parking.
Q. What does this cost……really?
A. Nada, nothing, zilch, free! This event is near and dear to us and gives us an opportunity to give back to our valued customers. There will be food available for purchase as well as raffles and nick knacks for sale, but entry to the party is free. You could easily enjoy the day without spending a penny.
Q. I don’t have a Jeep, but I would love to come, can I?
A. Yes! The biggest part of this event is an appreciation of Jeeps, it’s our common bond, so everyone from the Jeep owner to the enthusiast is welcome. Who knows, you may get the bug while here and you may leave with a Jeep, it’s happened before!
Q. Is this a beer swigging macho fest or can I bring the family?
A. Leave the beer at home and bring the kids! Jeff Daniel's Jeeps is family owned and we believe in involving the whole family in this day. There are a ton of activities for the kids including, a moonbounce, a rockwall, a magician, and their very own Jeep they can customize.
Q. What should I bring?
A. If you have a Jeep, bring that. Some things we think make the day more enjoyable are a camping chair, blanket, sunscreen, camera, wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, kids etc…
Q. What shouldn’t I bring?
A. There are very few restrictions for our party; we just ask that you leave the alcohol and animals at home.
Q. Does my Jeep have to be show quality?
A. No way! All Jeeps are welcome, we have categories for everything from fully customized to stock to vintage. This event is run by Jeep lovers so we love them all. You may not think you have a winner, but you never know! And keep in mind that everyone who registers for the show will receive the discount on gas, regardless if you win.
Q. What’s with the open entry and limited entry categories?
A. We are trying to make sure that everyone has a category to enter their Jeep. This is part of the unifying feel of our show, no one is excluded. We wanted a place where you could pit your Jeep against the exact same model, but we also wanted to give you the opportunity to compete against other models with owners that have a similar mindset in their builds and use of their Jeeps. For example you may have a nice YJ with some modifications done, but they are specific to outdoor adventures, the adventure class would be an option.
Q. Can I change classes when I get to the show?
A. That would be up to the discretion of the head of our registration crew. Please check out all the categories in advance so you know exactly where you should be in the show. It is a great help to us and makes the day run much smoother if everyone pre-registers and sticks to the category they have picked.
Q. Do I have to pre-register?
A. We would prefer for planning purposes if you did but it is not necessary. Registration is free and it is very important so we know how many Jeeps we are going to have at the party. You can access the form from our website www.jeffdanielsjeeps.com in the events section, print it out, fill it in and either drop it off at our shop, fax it in or mail it to us by September 17th.
Q. Will you have food?
A. There will be quality affordable food available, not your run of the mill fried foods. There will be a few local vendors selling some local delicacies.
So as you can see it is going to be a super exciting day, filled with tons of family fun, music, food and Jeeps. This is the one event of the year you don’t want to miss! If you have any other questions feel free to give us a call at 215-256-8090 or stop on into the shop. We can’t wait to see you there! Again, Thank you!
Sincerely,
The JD Crew
