I have it marked on my calender, but I won't know for sure that I can make it until the weekend gets closer. I missed Tata's and last years Halloween run, I'm going through withdrawal. lol!!

I would be interested in going. I just got to finalize some plans. I should know by the picnic if I can go.

And for anyone that has not been to Rausch Creek off road park. There are trail levels for all types of rigs. From mild to wild. Nobody will be left down if they think their jeep/rig is not up for the task. All you need is, True 4 wheel drive. Front and rear tow points if you go wild, But this can be handled if you go mild.
And what I find most important. A good EAR to listen to the people who try to help or lead you out.
But here is one more item you should have. Camera or Video Camera for those times you would like to see over and over or just for that OH $^!t moments that happen. Trust me on this one since I can have them.
But come out for the fun and to meet the other members. It will be a blast.

I'm still interested in going. What will the days schedule look like. I need to know if I need to spend a night at a hotel or not. Sorry I couldn't make it to the picnic, I had friends visiting.

Ok Fradyak, My personal opinion is a couple things you should think about. One is most likely what I will be doing. Drive up sat morning, wheel all day and then stay at the hotel for the night then leave the next day. Reasons for staying over night are. Tired after long day You do not know what condition your jeep will be in so you will want time to go over it for the long ride home and staying the night will give you all the time you need. I have found myself wrenching many sundays after a long weekend of wheeling then driving home. Plus to wheel all day then drive home just is not kind to your body or mind.
Now another idea to what should be is to drive up the night before, Get a good night sleep and then have a blast the next day. Then do as stated above. Hotel again then leave sunday.
Ask anyone and they will tell you it can be hell as much as fun. And try it after spending 4 days of wheeling the park and making the long drive home. I know.
So no matter what you do... Look at spending at min. 1 night at the hotel.
So hope to see you there. And let us have fun.

Thanks, definitely going. I may even get my dad to come. May end up trailering my CJ just in case we do break something. I got some things before I go, but I'll be ready. I need to put on new manual hubs, move winch hitch to bumper, and make a tool box. Thanks, David
