Ok, looking to set up a trip into the pines not just for riding, but make a stop at a lake or something to fish, eat and just lay back. So I am looking for some info on fishing spots and trails, Somebody who would be willing to lead a group out and knows what area to hit for fishing. I really like to keep this lazy and more sitting around the lake kind of thing. And since I have only been out in the Pines 2 times. I need help from our members. I spoke of this at the party and now is time to set something up. Like to see sometime in may.
So if you have any idea's, do not hesitate to speak up.

We have the Hero ride at the beginning of the month so set a date for the end of the month! We can have the Grass Roots 1st annual fishing expedition!

It's a very cool idea. I'll have to think about some good lakes down south. A lot of them are cedar water, and don't keep bass well.

Dave, I have no problem with cedar water fishing, Pickerel and myself get along very well and you can find some real nice bass in it also. So here is my cell # 215 432 7614. Give me a call so we can set something up and or get some good idea's.

Ok, It has been over a week. Anyone have any info on some fishing spots in the pines that can hold multiple people and maybe some food settings. Please speak up if you know of any hidden lake, creek or small river/stream back there. I really like to get the line wet in NJ and hook into some toothy critters and maybe some large mouths.
Time is going and I need some info.

Sorry John, haven't been able to call yet. Dealing with neighbor issues with my condo. I fish Turnmil Pond in Colliers Mills in Jackson. However Colliers Mills is not to friendly to Jeepers. NJ fish and Wildlife has a PDF doc of all lakes in NJ by county. I'll see what I can find. If anyone knows of any ponds out in the woods please speek up. I don't know of too many, but I'll check google earth to see what I can come up with.

I looked at google earth starting at the Ranger station and followed it out the way we went on the last ride I was with you guys/girls. I did not see anything that stood out. And I will have to look at the NJ site. And good luck with your neighbors.

Chuck, I enjoy having you along. For me it is not all about wheeling. I like so many things and any chance to relax with friends is a good time to me.
