OK first off i want to thank Austin for all his help today .....ok here we go here is the cage in the jeep we need to cut it down 2 1/2 " after we cut the rest of the bar out we took the seats out for easy access to the cage and more room to work ok now the cage is out and cut after we pre fit the top and bulkhead made our measurements and find we need to cut 2 1/2 inches out . this project has john deere soul this is a 3 point hitch we are going to cut and us to sleeve the tube and yes austin is a profesional welder ! sleeves in after the bar was cut welded and moved forward we took spare cross bars and cut them to 28 1/2 inches and attached were almost done!! ok whew long day but the top is on the bars are in and everything looks great next were putting in the seats and getting ready for project LOW GEAR to get paint

a few side notes .... this was a simple mod just very time consuming we started at 11 am and finished around 830 pm , but once the main hoop was cut and pulled forward it went pretty quick . The cross bars will be comming out at a later date when we put the CJ dash in ;D the i will install a CJ sport cage wich is just the top hoop and down tubes ,but from there we can improove the cage as much as we need .

Are you going to add a X pattern to the rear hoop? That would give it alot of extra strength and also give you a place to attach stuff. Looks good John Vince
