I need some help I have a wilderness rack on top of my wrangler. I want to put a back up spot light on the back of the rack, so when I put the Jeep in reverse the light comes on to let me see better when backing up our trailer in the dark. I was going to just tie into the back up light wires behind the taillight, but after thinking about it I'm not sure there will be enough power to run the light safely. I also think I need an Inline fuse? How should I wire this light and do it right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Alan

Can I ask did you use an inline fuse?
Did you use those snap over wire clips to tie your wires into the existing wires?

if you tie into your backup lights it will be protected by the backup light fuse

on my jeep i removed the stock reverse bulbs and i wired 55watt H3 bulbs in works great. basiclly i swaped out the stock bulb for the H3 bulb and it works fantastic plus theres no bulky fog lights attached to the back of my jeep.
