Guys, I have a serious rattle coming from under the tug in the vicinity of the firewall and tunnel.It seems to go away when I let off the gas.I hope its not a bearing. Vince

Does it go away when you push in the clutch peddle??? Check the gard on the cat. it my be coming off,,that happen to me back in the summer

John, I have an automatic.I thought about the heat shield but for some reason I didn't think that the Jeeps had them.And yes it does seem to stop when I take my foot off the gas.I'll look at it tomorrow and get back. Vince

The heat shields are made out of paper stuff. Loose skid plate you did install it. Maybe your gun under the carpet.
