I took the front driveshaft out this morning.You were right James the chirping noise was comming from the ball centering joint.I managed to take the driveshaft out without removing the skid plates.I doubt if I'll be able to re-install the same way. Vince

I had the same problem. R-Way tooling on Lincoln ave in vineland rebulit it for me in about 2hrs(must have been a slow day). I think it cost around 200 dollars. They replaced all the universals w/greasable ones, and also replaced the rubber boot w/a greasable metal collar. Putting it back on was easier that removing it. I found the bolts were easier to reach from the back(im left handed). Good luck.
