I'm due to get the Jeep inspected and I have a question... Can I go through inspection without my doors??? Reason is I don't want to take off the window tinting (cheapskate!!!) and since doorless is legal, it should pass, right???

I was told if it came with doors on from the factory they have to be on to pass inspection. I think each place has their own rules.

If you go on a nice day just keep the windows rolled down.

OK, just got back from inspection (I know I was late) and the guy was trying to tell me I was too high!!! Glad the supervisor set him straight... It's 4" (legal lift) measured above the stock measurement taken at the bottom of the door jam, plus I put on the stock 27" tires!!! After that I went thru with no problems being doorless and roofless... The light lens guards also passed though I was told they wouldn't... Did Fail however for one of the rear brakes being weak, easy fix...

Go for the high lift inspection. It's free and fun... plus you get a cool sticker.
