Had to order 4 new shocks today. They are rotted out to nothing. I decided to go with something a little stiffer, Procomp 9000ES (pretty cheap too).
I'm also gonna Durabak the undercarriage while i'm underneath it. It's a 2006 and looks like it's from 1906.

Yea, the price was great. I think I ended up paying $ 35.00 per shock. I'm actually hoping they're a little stiffer than the SkyJacker's I had on there. Those bottomed out on everything.

My TJ has officially crossed over into The "Beater" category. So a good street ride is out of the question. If I get a few years out of bobo shocks then I'm thrilled.

Today I sprayed the undercarriage, bumpers, sway bar, disconnects, control arms and wheel wells with Hammered Metal Black. Looks pretty nasty !
I'll try painting the alloy rims tommorrow, wish me luck.

Quick update. I got screwed on my shocks order, the order was completely wrong. So instead of waiting any longer I went to Quadratec this morning and picked up (4) Teraflex Shocks. The front rims are done and look sick ! All I have left to do is paint the rear rims, install the shocks & stabilizer & Durabak the wheel wells. The entire undercarriage, wheels, wheel wells, etc., are hammered metal black on black, right down to black shocks. With the wheels mounted it looks evil. Here's the shocks I ended up getting:
